Timiskaming is a district and census division in Northeastern Ontario in the Canadian province of Ontario. A territory was created within 1912 from either area of Algoma, Nipissing, and Sudbury districts. Based on data from Elections Canada (2001), the people is 69,901. Along by having portions of the neighboring dominion, Cochrane, Timiskaming is represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario by David Ramsay. In the House of Commons of Canada, the territorial dominion is divided between Nipissing—Timiskaming, represented by Anthony Rota, in the south, & Timmins-James Bay, represented by Charlie Angus, in the North. The super little part of the territory besides belongs to the riding of Nickel Belt. A zone seat is around Haileybury. Municipalities
